Scholarships.

 

During the 2009-2010 academic year, the Northland Community & Technical College Foundation awarded over $160,000 in scholarships. Scholarships funded through the Northland College Foundation range in value from $50 to $4000, depending on contributions or annual growth in the individual funds. Eligibility and criteria for scholarships varies and is often established by the donors. Several scholarships were established as endowments in honor of or in memory of individuals who have had a special commitment to the College or the community. The Foundation invites anyone interested in establishing an endowment or scholarship to contact the Foundation Office.



The fall Scholarship Ceremony will be held on Monday, September 27 at 7:00 PM on the Thief River Falls campus.


Current Student Scholarship Applications for Spring Semester of the Academic Year 2010 - 2011  will be available by October 1, 2010.  Please check back then.


Dislocated Worker Scholarship Program

Have you recently been laid off from your job? The Northland Community and Technical College Foundation, in partnership with the Otto Bremer Foundation, is providing over $75,000 in scholarships for dislocated workers. Why not take this challenge and turn it into a great opportunity to get trained for a new career?

To apply simply go to either the Roseau, Thief River Falls or Crookston's WorkForce Centers, or go to Job Service North Dakota in Grand Forks. They will assist you in discovering various career

and funding opportunities. Then they will refer you to Northland Community and Technical College for further admission, financial aid and career guidance.
